I checked and the 3 names i came up with are available. But it wants me to buy one for $28. Cant afford that at the moment. I’ll just proceed with the program all the same to get the hang of it.

You don’t have to spend that much on a new domain name, unless it’s unique or someone already owns it

I have chosen a domain name for my business: janevirtual.com, it’s still available. However, according to that site, the cost of buying it is $28.46.
Sir, are we to pay for the domain name before we can use it for this business?

I have decided to choose another domain name which I feel would be better in the long run. It’s also available and cheaper: digitaljaneservices.com. This one costs 4 pounds. What do you think?

Sir I think you should include a delete button that someone can use to delete a comment that has already been posted but which is still awaiting moderation.

Good, 4 Pounds is just about right for a new domain.
You don’t need to pay more than that for a brand new domain.
In fact, some hosting companies will actually give you one domain name for free

$28 is too much for a new domain name. Have you tried godaddy.com?

            They accept Nigera.

I have a blog site that I just opened this year in October

            Yes, you can use it.
It’s actually a very good idea since you can blog about your services as well, thus positioning yourself as an authority for potential clients.
Just be sure to include all relevant pages and your business profile as you’ve learned here.

Not a problem. Just create a dedicated page for VA within your site, or create a subdomain like virtual.nancyasakontact.com
This will save you the cost and time of launching a new website.

Thank you sir for the knowledge. Please sir, I want to find out if it’d be okay to use my native name in naming my business or I should stick to an English name?

Well, it depends on your target audience.
If you’re focusing on Nigeria, then your native name is ok, but can foreigners find it easy to pronounce?

I have seen my three name and also easy to pronounce.
The names are still available and it’s just $8.99 each sir. Though not buying it now sir for some reasons.

I had a serious challenge with Godaddy last year that make me lost my money.

Thank you so much sir for the good work you are doing.
My question is: Is it advisable to purchase a domain and hosting while the training is in progress?
I would have thought of the necessity when the training is completed and it’s time to start the VA business proper.
          Whats your take sir?
