DEFI or Decentralized Finance will and already a big threat to financial institutions and banks because a lot of the disadvantages in financial institution are bar in the DEFI. Reasons are
          1. In DEFI, there is Accessibility which the bank didn’t have
          2. Transparency – in DEFI, everyone see the full extent of transaction made but not in the financial institution.
          3. Anonymous – In DEFI, you don’t need KYC form to fill, no middlemen, the only thing is just to trade on if such one has created his wallet but in the bank, these are the stress a lot of people wants to avoid.
          4. Flexibility – in DEFI, you can move your asset anytime and anywhere but not in the bank sector where you need to follow precendents or rules.
          5. Fast – in DEFI, transaction is very fast. You don’t need to stand on the queue waiting for transaction to be made before getting you money or depositing you own money. you save time also in DEFI but not in banks
          6. Higher Return on Investment – unlike banks that will give you just or zero percent of interest, in DEFI, interest from 60 to 100% can be realized and i think these are the few reasons that is already bringing threat to financial institution and banks

          * In fact the main financial service that DEFI will affect the most is the Bank.
Among the DEFI services listed, though because i’m just a newbies, i have interest in all the DEFI services apart from Yield Aggregators and probably I have not understand the yield aggregators as such.
          thank you sir .

DEFI is a threat to financial institutions since it’s decentralized. moving Large amounts of money via financial institutions entails much hassles but in shortest possible time, DEFI will deliver clean transactions, though it’s more risky or volatile.

          2. What interests me most is the insurance financial, because it helps minimize losses that may be incurred

          1. Yes, DeFi is a threat to financial institutions and banks. This is because, most of the services rendered by these institutions and banks and even much more can be carried out with DeFi in a much more effective and efficient way that benefits the user in various ramifications- profit, easy, fast, transparent, accessible, unambiguous and flexible.

          2. DeFi Lending and Borrowing will affect the financial institutions and banks the most because most financial institutions including banks thrive on the high interest rates they earn from lending money to the wealthy individuals and businesses. Cutting them off through DeFi will render them bankrupt and helpless.
Amongst the DeFi services listed, I’m most interested in Yield Aggregators( Yield Farming). I’ll like to get deeper knowledge on how to actively benefit from it. Other services are also wonderful which I’ll also benefit from.
Thanks Engr. Emma for this expository on crypto/ DeFi earning opportunities.

Yes Defi is a treat to financial institutions because it is system by which financial institution become available to masses through block chain decentralized services.
Bypassing middle men like bank etc. Lending and borrowing is mad easy in Defi without much protocol, paper work or or middle men. It is very secure and Transparent. It is build around Daps and smart contracts which will allows you to do many transactions.
Bank is the most effected by services of DEFI.
So for now, I have interest in all DEFI services.

Yes, DEFI is a real threat to financial institutions especially banks because DEFI has simplified the operation principles of lending and borrowing at a minimal cost and higher profitability, by eliminating middlemen and collateral. Therefore banks are the most affected by this blockchain decentralized finance protocols.
Amongst the DEFI Services, I am much more interested in payment and insurance DEFI Services.

1.Yes DEFI is a threat to financial institutions and banks because of its convenience, fast and non geographical limitation in carrying out transactions.
2.The Lending and Borrowing will be greatly affected by DEFI
3.. I am greatly interested in the DEFI insurance because of risk associated with across boarder hack and glitches in the Dapp protocols which can lead to lost of funds

Defi is indeed a threat to bank because it performs every single thing the bank does and in a better way.
I love the lending and borrow part of it plus the held farming and its insurance protocol… In fact I love all of it

          1. Yes!
This is because DEFI is mainly doing the work of these financial institutions and banks, and it does the work better, faster, cheaper and with more convince for the user. Also it makes the apportunities open for everyone not minding his/her age, gender, race, locality. Also it does not consider your capital. Anyone can participate.

          2. Lending and Borrowing:
This is because the banks and financial institutions make this service available to only a limited number of person now. But DEFI is making it available to all.

          3. What interests me most is Liquidity Pool.

Definitely, yes. DEFI is a treat to financial institution. This is because DEFI possessed several advantages such as accessibility, transparency, anonymous, flexibility, fast and higher return on investment that out performed traditional banking system.

Of all the financial services rendered by the banking sector, lending and borrowing will be badly affected. On the contrary, DEFI will demystify lending and borrowing. Thus, I’m particularly interested in how lending action is performed by smart contract via DEFI lending.

DEFI is a major threat to All financial institutions. I’m just imaging what will be of these institutions when DEFI has fully come to stay, alot of employees will loose jobs. DEFI is out to address all the flaws be delving the industry. It will also give full control to individuals to control their finances.

          DEFI to Defy
I have seen some adverts by banks offering loans with an interest rate of about 20%, when you offers better option, you just taking their clients, so it’s a clear threat.

I once did a fixed deposit at the rate of 6% per annum, you can imagine that, I saw another opportunity and terminated the contract, by that they just a client, big threat.

I have always loved the idea of compound interest, and have sought opportunities to implement in Nigeria, but haven’t found up until now.

So, sir if you don’t mind, I would like to know of any investment opportunities that offers compound interest both in the regular finance world and the blockchain.

I absolutely believe that the best ROI in finance can only be found in DEFI, at least as of today.
I don’t know any bank will offer a 10% ROI on a dollar account, but you can very easily achieve that with DEFI.
After this program, I’ll encourage you to join our NEBULOS telegram channel, for updates that will include sample interest accounts in DEFI.

          1. Yes DEFI is already a threat to financial institutions because it is taking powers of control and manipulation away from their hands and placing it in the hands of the people to decide for themselves.

I see banks going into extinction in the couple of years away because virtually all the services they offer are now on DEFI and the ones not yet on DEFI will soon find its way there.

2.Lending and Borrowing will be the most affected and I prefer this lending and borrowing because it offers me the advantage of lending perhaps to a pool thereby making some cool profits.

Yes DEFI is a threat to the Financial Institutions
          Reasons:
          1. Accessible
          2. Transparency
          3. Antonymous, no KYC nor Verification
          4. It is Fast
          5. Its flexible
          6. It has higher returns on Investment.

The financial services that will be most affected with the introduction of DEFI is the Lending and Borrowing services.

Decentralized Insurance interest me most because as DEFI and Cryptocurrency as a whole is unregulated, Decentralized Insurance gives me minimal opportunity by providing a guarantee of compensation for specified loss.

          Yes
          1. This is because Defi is already doing what they are doing and very easy. Just at the comfort of your home you get the service that were hitherto done by the financial institutions and banks.

          2. Bank in my view will most affected because some of their depostors will stop keeping money in the bank because they give almost nothing as an interest rate to their depostors and higher interest rate to their borrowers. And this is where they make a lots of profits.

          3. The best thing I love in Defi system is high ROI on the liquidity you provide just like the money keep in the bank.
