Good day Engr, sorry this question is coming later. I have to go back to the modules after the class yesterday.
What is the implications when the difference between market capitalization and fully diluted market capitalization is not much?
It means most of the crypto is already in circulation, thus it’s easier to determine the value of the cryptocurrency.
When there is a wide disparity btw the market cap and fully diluted market cap, then it means lots of the crypto are not yet in circulation.
from what i understand, if a cripto is not fully in circulation it means that it won’t have much value right?
Not really, just that the market value may not accurately reflect the real value, since the market is pricing only what is in circulation.
Any sudden dump from the reserve can seriously affect the price.
